The letters K and X in our corporate identity represent the distinct, historic, traditional dwellings that span the length of California, establishing a visible representation of our indigenous heritage across both Northern and Southern traditions:

The Kíicha (K): Signifying Southern California Native ties, the Kíicha represents the engineered, dome-shaped structures of the sun-drenched southern valleys. These ancestral dwellings were built using flexible, woven-willow framing and meticulous, weather-proof thatch bindings, symbolizing adaptability, community protection, and localized resource harmony.

The Xontah (X): Signifying Northern California Native traditions, the Xontah represents the robust, structural plank houses of the northern riverbanks. These traditional homes were precision-built from massive logs split into durable, straight-grained structural redwood or cedar timbers, symbolizing permanence, heavy load-bearing strength, and structural resilience.

By fusing ancient structural integrity with modern engineering, KX Native Builds honors traditional craftsmanship while deploying advanced construction management disciplines.
